Solar Energy UK has just announced the launch of its new market intelligence platform, SolarPulse. This system will allow users to access key information on more than 4,000 solar projects, including large-scale energy storage and battery projects, across the United Kingdom.
With this tool, companies will be able to interact with projects in their earliest stages , identify bidding opportunities, and stay ahead of the competition with frequent updates.
A tool to analyze solar projects in real time
SolarPulse is designed to provide detailed data on solar projects and enable in-depth analysis of variables such as capacity, development status, and project location, as well as ownership and impacts on biodiversity and land quality. Users will be able to filter projects based on these and other criteria, allowing them to make informed decisions to maximize profitability and reduce risk .
The platform is aimed at a wide range of industry professionals, including developers, asset owners, investors, utilities, and EPC contractors. It also serves as a valuable resource for business development, strategy, and policymaking teams, providing clear, data-backed insights into solar and battery storage market trends.
Exclusive access and development plans
SolarPulse will be available exclusively to Solar Energy UK members , who will need to pay an additional subscription fee to access the platform. The system will be exclusively unveiled at Solar & Storage Live London , taking place on April 2 and 3 at the Excel Centre.
Solar Energy UK’s commercial director, Stephen Wilding, emphasized that the platform addresses the needs expressed by 70% of the association’s members, who asked for better market information.
Future plans
Going forward, SolarPulse will continue to develop, with the addition of new data related to grid access points, political geography, and NESO regional boundaries, allowing users to access an even more detailed and comprehensive view of the UK’s energy landscape.
This advancement positions SolarPulse as an indispensable tool for those seeking to stay ahead in the solar and energy storage industry.
