A few months ago, the Japanese company Sharp announced the launch of its new bifacial solar panel , the NBJE610 model, which reaches an impressive power of 610 watts and an efficiency of 22.58%. This advance is possible thanks to the incorporation of a white coating between the cells, designed to optimize light reflection, considerably improving energy production .

Sharp’s new panel is aimed primarily at large solar installations, such as industrial roofs and open spaces. This model uses bifacial technology, allowing light to be captured on both the front and back sides , thus increasing energy production compared to traditional single-sided panels.

The NBJE610 measures 2,382 mm by 1,134 mm, is 30 mm thick and weighs 34 Kg , making it robust yet manageable for industrial installations. The use of 132 N-TOPCon cells and 16 bus bars contribute to excellent electricity conduction , while the temperature coefficient of -0.290%/°C ensures its efficiency under changing conditions.
In addition, this panel is designed to withstand extreme conditions such as salt spray and mechanical stress , ensuring its performance for more than 30 years, according to the guarantees offered by the company. The absence of light-induced efficiency loss (LID) is another of its advantages, guaranteeing long-term durability.

The bifacial capability of the NBJE610, with a bifacial factor of 80%, allows the use of both direct and reflected light, significantly improving the profitability of solar projects . This panel, which has a maximum system voltage of 1500V , offers an excellent cost-benefit ratio, as it optimizes the production of renewable energy.
