Continuous innovation in corrosion protection
Since its founding in 1977, Cortec has been a pioneer in the development of corrosion protection technologies. The company has been developing its own version of vapor phase inhibitors ( VPCIs ), which are molecules designed to protect metals from corrosion.
Cortec is a pioneer in the VCI industry. We developed our own version, which we call VPCI, or vapor phase inhibitor.
We synthesize these molecules in our laboratory and scale them up for factory production.
Cliff Cracauer, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Cortec Corporation.
In addition, the company has obtained more than 60 patents and maintains VPCI as one of its products, both in technology and name. Its main applications include a wide range of industrial sectors, such as automotive manufacturing , heavy industry , and the oil and gas sector .
The company’s owner, Boris Miksic, has an environmentally friendly goal and core value.
Since the 1990s, we have been developing products to replace petroleum carriers with plant-based carriers.
Cracauer stated.
Furthermore, Cortec pioneered the development of compostable plastics containing inhibitors in its technology, aligning with its long-term commitment to creating efficient and environmentally friendly solutions. This has enabled the company to evolve its global supply chain, ensuring customized deliveries tailored to each customer’s needs worldwide.
Our owner always says that a customer should have the same experience, whether they’re in Tokyo, Japan, or Des Moines, Iowa.
We work closely with our customers to meet their supply chain needs.
Cracauer indicated.
The company has managed to maintain the stability of its supply chain by synthesizing its own inhibitors, allowing it to use readily available organic raw materials consistently and seamlessly.
