The International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) today kicked off its 50th Annual Conference and Exposition at the George R. Brown Convention Center and the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Houston, TX. The event, which runs through May 8, brings together over 3,000 liquid terminals industry professionals from around the world to discuss the latest trends, share knowledge, and network.
Packed Schedule of Events
The first day of the conference was packed with activities, including an opening keynote address by ILTA CEO Leakhena Swett and a special presentation by Jason Dorsey on generational gaps in the workforce. The evening of Day 1 also featured the “Women in Tanks and Terminals” reception, an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of women in the industry.
This year’s expo is the largest in ILTA history, with over 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and services for the liquid terminals industry. The expo has expanded into a new outdoor space to accommodate the growing demand for exhibitor space.
A Bright Future for ILTA 2024
“We are thrilled to celebrate our 50th anniversary with such a successful event,” said Leakhena, President of ILTA. “The response has been overwhelming and we are confident that this will be the best ILTA yet.”
Organizers are already planning next year’s conference, which is expected to be even bigger and better.
