During the interview, Elvers highlighted that the Matrix UT system incorporates the latest technologies in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT), including conventional ultrasound , full matrix capture and phase 3 coherence imaging. These innovations allow the system to inspect pipes with thicknesses from 4 to 5 millimeters , with no defined upper limit, making it extremely versatile for a variety of applications.
The system is manufactured in Acheson, Alberta, Canada and is available to customers worldwide. According to Elvers, the system has already been successfully used in both onshore and offshore pipeline construction projects, establishing itself as a key tool for the energy infrastructure sector.
With a global presence and a commitment to quality and innovation, Argus NDT continues to position itself as a leader in the field of non-destructive testing, offering cutting-edge technological solutions to the pipeline construction industry.
