The International Energy Agency (IEA) estimates that the renewable energy market will generate jobs for eight million people in the next seven years.

In its analysis “Energy Technology Outlook 2023”, the IEA points out that the current six million jobs will increase to 14 million by the year 2030. He adds that the sectors that will lead the new jobs will be the areas of solar photovoltaic, wind, electric vehicles and heat pumps.

Additionally, the IEA indicates that the world market for the main mass-produced clean energy technologies will grow, the value of which will reach 650,000 million dollars annually in 2030.

From the perspective of the IEA, the global energy crisis will accelerate the use of renewable energy. He estimates that the world will seek to install in the next five years the same renewable energy capacity that was developed in the last two decades.

The IEA report provides a comprehensive analysis of the global manufacturing of clean energy technologies today; such as solar panels, wind turbines, electric vehicle batteries, hydrogen electrolysers and heat pumps, and their supply chains around the world. In addition to mapping the probabilities of evolution, as the transition to clean energy progresses.
