Russia to overtake Saudi Arabia as oil producer

According to the forecasts of the International Energy Agency (IEA), Russia will surpass Saudi Arabia as the main oil producer within the OPEC+ group. Crude output in Riyadh is estimated to drop to 9 million barrels a day in July and August, putting the kingdom behind Russia as the leading producer in the 23-nation oil bloc.

Japan to install giant rotating structure on the Moon that will simulate Earth’s gravity

Japan plans to build a giant rotating structure on the Moon called “The Glass”, designed to house human life. This construction will be able to rotate every 20 seconds in order to simulate Earth’s gravity. The project, presented on July 5 by the Kajima Corporation during a conference organized by Kyoto University, seeks to recreate the conditions for life on Earth on the lunar surface.
