Why is this event important?
The National Institute for Storage Tank Management (NISTM) is holding the 2nd annual Annual Aboveground Storage Tank Conference (AST) for the U.S. West Coast. This technical and commercial event brings together Operations Directors, Asset Integrity Engineers, Terminal Managers, Environmental Consultants and Regulatory Bodies dedicated to liquid, chemical and fuel storage infrastructure.
Over the course of three specialized days, attendees will have access to a comprehensive program that addresses the latest operational, regulatory and security challenges. The agenda includes analysis on compliance with Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) regulations, advanced non-destructive inspection methodologies, cathodic protection and corrosion control systems, as well as cutting-edge technologies for the early detection of leaks and the reduction of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions.
In addition to the technical conferences, the trade show will host dozens of industry-leading exhibitors and suppliers, offering an environment conducive to evaluating new technology solutions, establishing strategic alliances, and participating in hands-on training courses aimed at optimizing the life and safety of storage tanks.
