During the third day of the ILTA 2024 Conference and Trade Show held in Houston, Adam Vance, General Manager of Mesa ETP company, highlighted the company’s latest innovations in products for aboveground storage and emissions control.
In an interview with our team, Vance detailed how the company continues to pioneer the market with advanced solutions that improve both the efficiency and sustainability of industrial operations .
Mesa ETP (which stands for Engineer Tank Products), specializes in the design and production of floating roofs and related products such as tire seals and drains for the aboveground storage market.
” Our focus is on continually improving products that complement floating roofs, ensuring they are effective and sustainable ,” said Vance.
The flagship product of Mesa ETP
One of the featured products at the show was “ Armor Fabric ,” a textile material designed for edge seals on storage tanks. This material has higher abrasion resistance than steel, allowing the seals to last as long or longer than traditional mechanical shoe seals, with a potential lifespan of 10 to 20 years .
” This product can handle up to 200,000 abrasion cycles without failure, almost 40 times longer than previous products ,” Vance explained.
Additionally, Vance noted that the EPA has recognized its primary seal, integrated with Armor Fabric, as the most efficient on the market. “This seal is not only durable, but also extremely energy efficient as it eliminates vapor generation at the surface of the liquid.“he added.
It is worth highlighting that Mesa ETP has positioned itself as a key partner for the industry, constantly innovating and responding to the challenges of emissions control . Among other innovations, the company has introduced covers for gauge handles and a clip block, which was also presented at previous ILTA editions.
” We are a partner that wants to continue innovating and addressing the challenges we believe the industry faces around emissions control ,” Vance concluded.
