Pudu Technology Inc, a leading provider of service robotics, has launched the PUDU MT1, a cleaning robot designed for large-scale industrial environments such as retail stores, warehouses and manufacturing plants. This advanced robot uses artificial intelligence to clean autonomously, promising greater efficiency and reduced operating costs, the company reported.
Pudu Robotics founder and CEO Felix Zhang emphasized that modern facilities require more advanced cleaning solutions. The PUDU MT1 uses AI and automation to keep large areas spotlessly clean, meeting the highest hygiene standards in large spaces.
Features of the PUDU MT1
The MT1 is the mobile robot the largest mobile robot developed by the company so far, measuring 840 × 600 × 490 mm. It can cover areas exceeding 100,000 square meters thanks to its 45 Ah battery, capable of operating for six continuous hours. In addition, the robot features an autonomous recharging system, further reducing manual intervention. To adapt to different situations, it can instantly switch to manual mode when necessary.

Equipped with a large capacity waste container (35 liters) and a cleaning width of 70 cm, the MT1 can handle everything from fine dust to larger waste, such as bottles and packaging material. Pudu Robotics has incorporated advanced AI technology to enable the robot can recognize and classify different types of debris. This allows for more efficient cleaning, as it activates the mechanism only when it detects actual debris, saving energy and time.
Multitasking capabilities of the cleaning robot
The PUDU MT1 is also designed to integrate with devices IoT devices devices and work in conjunction with infrastructure such as elevators and doors, enabling cleaning in multi-story facilities. With remote monitoring via apps and PC interfaces, it offers real-time visualized reports and notifications when your container is full, optimizing cleaning management.
This launch follows the success of Pudu’s first industrial product, the PUDU T300. PUDU T300and represents the third cleaning robot in its portfolio. The company, based in Shenzhen, China, has expanded its presence in more than 60 countries and regions, having deployed close to 80,000 units in different sectors, such as retail, hospitality and healthcare.
