FairWind strengthens its presence in Asia-Pacific with key partnership in Japan

Danish firm FairWind has taken a firm step in its plan to grow in the Asian market by sealing a strategic partnership with Wind Energy Partners (WEP), a Japanese company specialized in the maintenance of wind turbines. This collaboration comes weeks after FairWind acquired Australia’s Cosmic Group, consolidating its position in Asia-Pacific.

A bridge between global experience and local knowledge

WEP, headquartered in Yokohama and with an operational presence in seven key locations in the country, brings a valuable local network, regulatory expertise and specialized services such as preventive maintenance and blade repair. FairWind, on the other hand, adds its international track record in turbine assembly and service both onshore and offshore.

Thanks to this synergy, both companies seek to improve service reliability, reduce response times and offer technical solutions adapted to Japanese market conditions.

Although wind power development in Japan is still in its early stages, government support and increased investment are creating favorable conditions for its expansion.
