According to Ginlong Solis, distributed generation, or rooftop solar panels, is expected to grow by about 20% this year despite the potential energy dispute with the United States.

Residential and small commercial solar installations are not being affected by energy disputes, as this segment operates independently, said Sergio Rodríguez, Service Manager for LATAM at Ginlong Solis.

He expressed that this Chinese company is committed to continue investing in Mexico, focusing efforts on solar energy through distributed generation (residential and small businesses), which consists of the production of less than 0.5 Megawatts installed.

In the last 10 years, the segment has multiplied more than 8,000 times and this year is expected to grow by at least 20%, according to Sergio Rodríguez.

He announced that by the end of the year the next generation of S6-EH1P(3.8-11.4)K-H-US and S5-GC(50-60)K-LV series six hybrid inverters will be brought to the country, focused on strengthening photovoltaic systems for residential, commercial and smart energy storage systems in the country.
