Elements Green has confirmed an €80 million platform financing agreement with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners(CIP). This transaction, structured through the CI Green Credit Fund I, is aimed at boosting the development of an ambitious portfolio of solar projects and battery storage systems (BESS).(BESS).

The investment will be used to grow and consolidate a diversified portfolio of 13 GW of solar PV and storage projects. With these resources, Elements Green will be able to support the development, construction and acquisition of new assets, strengthening its position as a future independent power producer(IPP).

CIP‘s participation, through its specialized green credit fund, strengthens the long-term focus on clean energy infrastructure. The partnership represents financial support and establishes a shared vision towards a more sustainable and flexible electricity grid. CIP emphasized that this financing contributes directly to the global energy transition.

James Gates, Elements Green’s chief investment officer, explained that the deal provides the capital needed to move forward quickly while maintaining ownership and control of the assets. This will allow the company to move towards a full-scale IPP operation without diluting its structure.

Elements Green has demonstrated its ability to attract institutional capital with a clear vision in sustainable infrastructure. This new backing will allow it to expand its presence in major European markets, with a focus on clean, efficient and scalable energy solutions.
