According to the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), in October, 148.7 million m 3 per day of natural gas and 3.24 million barrels of oil were produced per day.

According to Agencia Brasil, considering only the pre-salt production, there was an increase of 4.75% compared to September. “Of the national total registered in October, 75.18% corresponds to the pre-salt layer,” said the ANP.

According to a note released by the agency, production was boosted by the production of the P-77, FPSO Guanabara and FPSO Pioneiro de Libra platforms.

In addition, the ANP highlighted the 18% increase in production under shared regime contracts, which reached 995.2 thousand barrels per day. This level of production represented 23.8% of the national total.

Likewise, in accordance with current legislation, in the distribution regime, Petrobras may exercise preference to act as operator of the blocks to be contracted.

“In this case, the participation of the state company in the consortium may not be less than 30%,” the national agency clarified. The data is available in the dynamic productivity panel of the sector maintained by the ANP.
