Oil company Aquaterra Energy has signed a multi-million-dollar, long-term contract with Intrepid Energy Limited to supply integrated well intervention solutions in Nigeria. This agreement will enhance the development of mature shallow water wells , with the goal of increasing productivity and efficiency in the region.
Well intervention in Nigeria
The solution designed by Aquaterra includes a complete system from the seabed to the surface. Key components include TRT mooring tools , a lightweight pressure control system , an ISO-certified riser , and an integrated tensioner . This package has been specifically designed for operations from jack-up platforms and lift boats, avoiding the use of floating vessels and thus reducing operating costs.
