Apptronik, a pioneer in humanoid robotics , has secured a $350 million Series A funding round led by B Capital and Capital Factory, with participation from Google. This backing will enable the company to scale production of its Apollo robot , optimize industrial automation, and strengthen human-robot interaction in key sectors.
Improvements are coming to the Apollo robot
With this funding, Apptronik will accelerate the development of next-generation humanoid robots , including new iterations of Apollo. Its advanced and accessible design is geared toward improving human-robot collaboration in industrial settings such as manufacturing and logistics.

The company, born out of the University of Texas Human-Centered Robotics Laboratory, has successfully evolved in the industry after developing 15 previous robotic systems, including the NASA Valkyrie .
Apollo, Apptronik’s flagship robot, is designed to perform tasks in the supply chain, warehousing and production, with the potential to expand into healthcare and customer service. Its implementation seeks to reduce operating costs, improve efficiency in dynamic environments and enhance artificial intelligence applied to robotics.
Support from tech giants
In addition to Google’s investment, Apptronik has established strategic partnerships with NVIDIA and DeepMind to integrate advanced AI capabilities into its humanoid robots. These collaborations reinforce its leadership in developing technologies that will transform the workforce of the future.
The funding will enable the company to meet the growing demand for robots in sectors such as automotive, electronics manufacturing and consumer goods distribution. Companies such as Mercedes-Benz and GXO Logistics are already exploring the use of Apollo in their operations, signaling a growing trend towards intelligent automation in the industry.
