Andreas Opfermann to lead the ROSEN Group as new CEO

Opfermann will lead ROSEN's global technology expansion from its headquarters in Switzerland.

As of July 1, 2025, the ROSEN Group will have new leadership. Andreas Opfermann officially takes over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, following a decision taken by its Shareholders’ Committee. This executive change coincides with the transition of Erik Cornelissen to the position of Chief Customer Officer (CCO), a newly created role that reinforces ROSEN’s focus on the market and sustained growth.

Opfermann’s career

Opfermann comes to the ROSEN Group with 18 years of executive leadership experience in the industrial gases sector. industrial gasesprimarily with the Linde Group. There he held senior management roles as Executive Vice President of the Americas, a global leader in clean energy (with focus on hydrogen, carbon capture and digitalization), CEO of AGA AB and chief technology officer. In addition, he began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he accumulated six years of strategy consulting experience.

This track record positions him as an expert in industrial asset management and as a driver of technologies applied to the operational efficiency and integrity of critical infrastructures.

During his time at Linde, Opfermann managed operations in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, giving him an in-depth knowledge of diverse markets and an affinity with the specific needs of industrial customers on an international scale. This experience will be key to ROSEN’s goal of establishing itself as a global provider of data-driven solutions for asset management.

Meanwhile, the customer service directorate, to be assumed by Erik Cornelissen, is a position that spans all product lines and geographic regions. This move aims to accelerate the implementation of advanced services and reinforce ROSEN’s reputation for delivering customized and effective asset integrity solutions.
