Description
The Spanish Association of Non-Destructive Testing (AEND) is a civil association, of indefinite duration, non-profit and with its own legal personality, which brings together the different natural and legal persons related to non-destructive testing (NDT).
It was established on September 27, 1988, at an Assembly held during the events of the VI Congress in Vigo of the CC-END. On December 23, 1997, CERTIAEND (END Certification Body) was accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) for the certification of personnel in Non-Destructive Testing in accordance with the UNE EN-473:1993 standard.
Mission
We promote professional development and continuous training in the field of Non-Destructive Testing, as well as the certification of NDT personnel through the CERTIAEND certification body.
Vision
We want to continue to be leaders in NDT teaching at all levels and for all types of public and private entities, contributing to the continuous improvement of the personnel who carry out Non-Destructive Testing. We aspire to be a benchmark in the promotion of professional excellence to guarantee an ethical, sustainable application adapted to everyday challenges.
Activities
• Non-destructive testing training: Ensure that students acquire the skills necessary to implement NDT effectively.
• Certification of personnel in NDT: Verify and certify that people have the skills and abilities necessary to perform tasks at the corresponding level and method.
• NDT dissemination: Publication of content and organization of events where knowledge is shared among NDT experts.
• Organization of conferences and congresses.
• Participation in international projects: Collaboration in national and international initiatives.
