The Australian subsidiary of Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) has commenced commercial operation of Walla Walla, a 300 MWac solar farm located in the Riverina region of New South Wales (NSW). A strategic alliance with microsoft for the solar farm

Prior to its construction, the company entered into a power purchase and sale power purchase agreement (PPA) with Microsoft. The backing of international investors

Fotowatio is part of Jameel Energy and the Canadian fund OMERS Infrastructure, entities that financially support its expansion. This support has enabled the company to add eight operational projects in Australia, with a total capacity of nearly 1,000 MW.
