During the XXI SLOM Conference held in Panama, Roberto Madia, Technical Manager of ALFAGOMMA, shared the vision and technological advances of the Italian company, both in marine hoses and other products.

Madia emphasized the recent achievement of API 17K certification, one of the most demanding in the field of marine hoses. This certification validates that the company’s hoses withstand high pressures, dynamic loads, can operate in extreme conditions and meet strict design requirements.
The company’s hoses integrate two reinforcement technologies, metallic textile and all-metal, allowing for greater design customization according to the operation in question. In addition, the company performs hydrodynamic and material fatigue analysis, to ensure product durability and functionality in every operating environment.

As Roberto Madia explained, the company’s objective is to strengthen its positioning in Latin America, expanding its network of contacts and better understanding the technical needs of the market in order to offer products more closely aligned with those requirements. This regional interest is complemented by the company’s global capability, which has multiple divisions outside Italy focused on hydraulic hoses, couplings and industrial solutions for different segments of the energy chain.
