U.S.-based Civ Robotics has secured $7.5 million in Series A funding, strengthening its position in the development of autonomous robot technology for civil site surveying and material distribution. This investment, led by AlleyCorp with participation from Bobcat Company and ff Venture Capital, brings the company’s total funding to $12.5 million.
The autonomous robot that scores 3000 points per day
With more than 100 units of its CivDot robot deployed on projects globally, Civ Robotics is marking a shift in the way surveying tasks are approached. surveying tasks in sectors such as solar energyroad infrastructure and industrial parks. The robot can mark up to 3,000 points per day, with an accuracy of up to 8 mm, even in rough terrain or adverse weather conditions. This represents an increase in productivity of up to eight times compared to conventional methods.
The use of stand-alone solutions such as CivDot is gaining relevance in renewable energy projects. Companies such as Bechtel have implemented this technology in large-scale solar projects, achieving substantial improvements in time and quality. Civ Robotics’ technology has been used to plot more than 10 million coordinates and facilitate the construction of solar farms in excess of 20 GW of installed capacity.

Civ Robotics leads the way in automation
The company, which recently achieved profitability, now aims to expand into the EMEA region and other strategic markets, consolidating its commitment to efficiency in large construction developments. The alliance with Bobcat also reinforces the focus on practical robotic solutions adapted to real field challenges.
Civ Robotics is positioned as a major player in the transition to automated construction in an industry traditionally lagging behind in technology adoption. Its proposal combines operational accessibility, precision and scalability, aligning with the sustainability and digitalization requirements of the sector.
