After years of planning and installation, the integrated integrated solar panel plant, located in the department of Pocitolocated in the department of Pocito, province of San Juan, will start operating before the end of the year. The installation, developed by Energía Provincial Sociedad del Estado (EPSE), represents an important step towards the consolidation of national photovoltaic technology.

According to Lucas Estrada, president of EPSE, the start-up phase includes an initial phase with a single eight-hour shift per day and the participation of 27 people, including operators, technicians and engineers. As the operational learning curve is completed, new shifts will be incorporated until reaching a total plant of around 75 workers by 2026.

Training, inclusion and state-of-the-art technology

The labor integration process contemplates that the first operators will be trained directly by the technology supplier, the Swiss-German firm H2GEMINI, and then pass this knowledge on to the rest of the personnel. The tasks will be distributed between functions that require high specialization in automation and others that are accessible without previous experience.

The plant will have the capacity to produce up to 800,000 solar panels per year, equivalent to 2,200 units per day. This infrastructure, together with the recent acquisition of state-of-the-art machinery such as the central laminator, places San Juan as a benchmark in photovoltaic production. photovoltaic production production in the country.

A solar panel factory with social and energy impact

The site, located in the industrial zone of Pocito, is part of the San Juan Solar Project, a provincial strategy to diversify the energy matrix and generate quality employment. The construction of the complex had already generated jobs in previous stages, and its full operation aims to consolidate a sustainable industry.

From EPSE remarked that the labor call will formally start in September, when the pending customs procedures have been completed. For the time being, inquiries and resume submissions are not available.

With this initiative, San Juan is positioned as a benchmark in clean energy clean energyintegrating technological development, qualified employment and renewable energy produced locally.
