TotalEnergies plans to improve its maritime management by incorporating LR OneOcean‘s technology-enabled voyage optimization solution. This integration combines expert nautical monitoring with high-resolution data analysis and automated consumption modeling, all within a single digital platform.

LR OneOcean technology enhances shipping service

The platform centralizes real-time telemetric data and daily logs, allowing the construction of highly accurate consumption models. In this way, operators can simulate different routes and optimize voyages according to the specific conditions of each vessel. This capability has enabled TotalEnergies to adjust its operations according to technical and environmental criteria.

During the test phase, prior to full implementation, the fleet managed by TotalEnergies achieved a reduction of 725 metric tons of fuel and avoided the emission of 2256 metric tons of CO₂. These results consolidate the potential of this collaboration to advance more sustainable shipping.

Moreover, the technology has 24/7 support from LR OneOcean’s technical team, which has facilitated efficient adoption by crews and operators. In addition, the integration between data, human expertise and artificial intelligence technology has been important for the results obtained.

With more than 22,000 vessels integrated into its ecosystem, LR OneOcean strengthens its role as a digital partner for a responsible maritime energy transition. TotalEnergies, for its part, strengthens its commitment to reduce the environmental impact of its maritime activities, aligning with its global sustainability goals.
