The new production area, which will be fully operational in 2026, will incorporate robotics and state-of-the-art digital manufacturing processes. One of the key aspects of this expansion is GKN’s ability to meet the growing demand for market-leading engines such as the GEnX, GTF and Trent XWB. The company currently has a strong order backlog that spans nine years, underscoring its importance in the aerospace sector global.
