During the interview, Chinlee gave a visual tour of some of the company’s devices. He highlighted a line-scan X-ray camera with a carbon fiber window, designed to allow X-rays to enter and create images from moving objects.

We call it a waterfall because the image cascades down the screen. And if you take a top image of that, you get these kinds of images Chinlee explained, showing a PCB image and a sonogram produced in CT mode.

The variety of applications that X-Scan devices can handle is impressive, from high-resolution inspections to X-rays of everyday objects such as cell phones and peanuts.
