The AMPP 2025 conference has arrived in Nashville with a series of innovations that seek to transform the attendee experience, enabling more personalized and dynamic participation. This was stated by Gregory Muha, Director Conferences, Exhibitions and Sponsorships at AMPP, who highlighted that the event, which brings together thousands of experts from the material protection and corrosion control industry, has improved its format to facilitate the connection between attendees and the most relevant topics in each sector.

A more personalized format

The most notable change at AMPP 2025 is the new approach to organizing sessions and activities. The conference is now structured around three main sectors: infrastructure, defense, and energy. This approach allows participants to select the sessions that most interest them, either by sector or by specific technology topic.

This year, attendees can slice and dice by sector and also by technology topic. So for instance, if somebody’s only interested in civil infrastructure defense market, but they only want to hear about cathodic protection, they can select in our app, civil infrastructure defense, cathodic protection, and they’ll get everything that’s going to happen on a given day, no matter what the content is.

Sectorization for better connection

The new structure also incorporates the option to filter sessions by specific topic within each sector. For example, if an attendee focuses on cathodic protection within the infrastructure and defense sector, they will be able to access all relevant presentations on this topic without having to navigate through a sea of unrelated sessions. This new format promises not only to improve the attendee experience, but also to increase participation in the more technical and specialized sessions.

Shift to a market-based approach

Another of the innovations presented during the event is the shift toward a market-based approach , rather than focusing exclusively on products. This strategy responds to the need to better adapt to current industry demands and trends. Tim González, Vice President of the Energy Sector , notes that this approach will allow AMPP to be closer to market needs and offer more precise solutions for each industrial segment.

Future prospects

As AMPP continues to evolve, it’s clear that the 2025 conference marks a turning point in the way content and activities are organized. The personalized approach and the push toward a more market-focused model signal that AMPP is well positioned to lead innovation in the material protection industry. In a rapidly changing world, these adaptations not only enhance the attendee experience but also open new doors for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
