During the AMPP 2025 event, Dave Andreotti, Sales Manager at De Nora Tech, clearly explained the core of the company’s technological proposition, the MMO anodes (mixed metal oxide). This solution combines a titanium base coated with precious metals, effectively protecting metal structures exposed to harsh environments.

These anodes are essential in sectors such as oil and gas, fuel storage, offshore platforms, and even urban infrastructure. Dave commented that they also apply this technology in specific areas, such as bridges, monuments, and parking garages.

Two brands for two industries

Diversification has also been key to De Nora’s strategy, with Lida, its traditional line focused on cathodic protection of assets in the energy industry, and Elgard, focused on the care of concrete structures exposed to environmental wear and tear.

Both brands share the principle of extending the useful life of critical assets through high-performance coatings developed by the Ohio-based R&D team. This laboratory, according to Andreotti, is central to the ongoing development of new formulas and product improvements.

A new stage: global management and operational coherence

One of the most significant announcements made during the interview was the launch of a new global product management model. This strategy aims to standardize quality, improve product consistency, and offer more competitive prices worldwide.

This change is no small feat, as it represents a significant advance for a company with a presence in more than 100 countries and that has remained steadfast in its commitment to innovation for more than a century.

Flexible distribution and direct contact

Regarding its sales model, the company operates on a hybrid basis; in the United States, it operates through distributors, while in the global market, it can make direct sales, depending on the project. This flexibility allows it to adapt to the specific needs of each client and market.
