WEG was selected to supply a complete package of electrical solutions for a water supply project in Ras Al-Khair, Middle East. The objective is to transport 1.2 million cubic meters of drinking water. drinking water per day through a network of 391 kilometers of pipelines.
The scope of supply includes motors, frequency converters and transformers designed to ensure continuous and reliable operation of the pumping system.
High performance electrical solutions for critical demand
To ensure the daily supply of 1.2 million cubic meters of water, WEG’s solution includes W60 high-voltage motors, frequency converters and transformers, designed to withstand heavy loads and operate continuously in demanding environments.
The W60 motors stand out for their energy efficiency and low maintenance requirements, reducing the operating costs of the water system.
One of the main differentials of this project is the centralization of the power supply in a single supplier. This strategy allows for seamless integration between components, reduces the risks of incompatibility and improves technical communication between the parties involved in the installation and operation of the system.
Impact on the region’s water infrastructure
WEG’s participation strengthens the drinking water distribution infrastructure in a key area of the Middle East, contributing to the water stability of communities and industrial sectors.
The project is part of a regional strategy that seeks to optimize the efficiency and sustainability of water resources through high-performance technologies.
