Volvo Penta will be showcasing its electrification technology, battery platform and energy storage subsystem ( BESS ) at Bauma 2025. This modular solution is designed to improve efficiency in construction and mining.

Volvo Penta’s BESS subsystem offers a scalable system that facilitates the integration of electric power into multiple applications. It also uses high-energy density and high-performance batteries, optimized for operation in demanding industrial sectors. This system allows for flexible implementation, tailored to the specific needs of original equipment manufacturers ( OEMs ) and system integrators.

In addition to its battery system , the company continues to innovate in efficient combustion engines, compatible with alternative fuels such as HVO and hydrogen-based dual-fuel technologies .
