Inkfish, a global philanthropic organization dedicated to marine research and technological innovation, has signed a contract with Vard, a prestigious Norwegian shipbuilder, for the design and construction of the RV6000: a vessel that sets a new standard in ocean exploration.

With an investment of more than 200 million euros, the RV6000 will expand Inkfish’s fleet, which already includes the RV Hydra and RV Dagon. This vessel will enable scientific operations at depths of up to 6,000 metersthanks to its gondola-mounted sensor equipment, ROV support systems and manned submersible capability. manned submarines.
