The agreement establishes that Zelestra will supply electricity generated from three solar plants to be built in Ciudad Real, Castilla-La Mancha. These facilities, called Brazatortas I, II and IV, will have a combined total capacity of more than 74 MWdc and an estimated annual production of 146 GWh.

In addition, Zelestra specialises in the development and operation of renewable energy projects, managing a portfolio of 28 GW in 13 countries, while betting on Spain as a market with potential energy growth.

The project is also supported by EQT , which has projects in development for more than 5 GW in Spanish territory. The objective of the PPA is to reinforce Tesla’s strategy of reducing its carbon footprint and promoting renewable energy sources in its operations.

We are excited about this agreement with Tesla, which will enable us to supply clean energy to the automotive industry, and proud to strengthen our role as a partner offering customized, carbon-free solutions around the world and across all sectors.
