SUSI Partners acquired the wind farm during its final construction phase and, after more than seven years of operation and maintenance, is now exiting as part of an asset rotation strategy of the SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II (SREF II).
SREF II and Milestone wind farm strategy
Since its launch in 2014, the SREF II fund has developed a diversified portfolio of solar and wind power plants in Europe, focusing on pre-operational assets with value appreciation potential. SUSI has implemented long-term PPA contracts and downside protection mechanisms, ensuring profitability and stability for investors, without losing exposure to the wholesale market.
In addition to optimizing operational performance, the firm has also promoted life extension strategies and explored integration with storage systems, seeking new value opportunities across the portfolio.
Alerion expands its international presence
With this acquisition, Alerion Clean Power strengthens its 2025-2028 industrial plan and diversifies its European presence by adding a key country with favorable conditions for wind power development.
