Sunraycer agrees with Meta to drive 240 MWac of solar power in Texas

In a key move for the advancement of renewable energy in the United States, Sunraycer Renewables finalized agreements with Meta to provide it with clean energy through two solar projects. solar projects projects that will add 240 MWac to the Texas grid.

Two solar projects to be connected to the ERCOT network

The projects, named Midpoint Solar and Gaia Solar, will be located in Hill and Navarro counties, respectively. Between them, they will generate a total capacity of 310 MWdc / 240 MWac, with plans to enter commercial operation by the end of the fourth quarter of 2025.

The electricity generated will be injected into the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) grid, which will expand the participation of renewable sources in a region highly dependent on conventional sources.

Through these agreements, Meta will acquire all of the environmental attributes associated with both projects. Sunraycer accelerates its clean energy expansion

Based in Maryland, Sunraycer is part of Crayhill Capital Management’s portfolio and has established itself as an accelerated growth platform for solar generation and energy storage. Its projected portfolio already reaches 4 GWac between photovoltaic and utility-scale batteries.

In addition to the agreement with Meta, the company continues to close financial and operational partnerships through its Accelerator Program, providing support to small developers through flexible capital and specialized operation, maintenance and energy management services.
