Subsea7 has been selected by Ithaca Energy to carry out offshore decommissioning on the Alba floating storage unit (FSU) and FPF-1 production facility at the Greater Stella field, located 230 kilometers east of Aberdeen, UK.
The project includes the cleaning of underwater pipelinesThe project involves the cleaning of subsea pipelines, the use of support vessels for diver operations and the removal of structures and debris from the seabed. As announced, engineering and project management will begin immediately at Subsea7’s Aberdeen office, with offshore activities commencing in the second quarter of 2026.
