Ocean Aero has taken a firm step forward in strengthening its underwater operations subsea operations by selecting Forcys as its payload supplier for the Triton autonomous submarine, its innovative autonomous underwater and surface vehicle (AUSV). The Triton, which stands out as the world’s only autonomous submarine powered entirely by solar and wind energy, is designed to maximize efficiency and sustainability in marine defense operations.

Forcys collaboration with Ocean Aero

Forcys, recognized for its expertise in ocean defense technologies, will provide the company with state-of-the-art technologies through its technology partners. Among the systems selected are the SPRINT-Nav Minithe world’s smallest hybrid acoustic-inertial navigation system from Sonardyne, and Solstice MAS, a multi-aperture sonar designed by Wavefront Systems that offers exceptional performance in autonomous submersible vehicles.

Dan Zatezalo, CEO of Forcys, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stressing that the combination of its solutions with Ocean Aero’s technology will deliver outstanding results in marine defense applications. Bob Marthouse, the company’s chief operating officer, also stressed the importance of optimizing the performance-to-power ratio of payloads to meet demanding subsea mission objectives.
