The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships for higher studies in Germany, with the aim of promoting academic excellence and international cooperation.
According to this European government body, the students who win these scholarships will have a quality education at “world-renowned” universities to expand their academic and professional horizons.
“Immerse yourself in a rich and vibrant culture and discover Germany’s fascinating heritage while engaging with a global student community. Enjoy a scholarship that covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance and a monthly allowance”, indicates the DAAD.
It is important that the applicant for these scholarships at the time of applying to the DAAD program have basic knowledge of the German language or a very good level of English.

Hertie School of Government in Berlin, the University of Duisburg-Essen, Willy Brandt School of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt, Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Hochschule Osnabrück, University of Osnabrück, Passau and Potsdam, among others, are subscribed to this program of scholarships.
To qualify, you should have a degree in some of these subjects: Economic Sciences, Law, Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, Art, Music, Design, Engineering and Natural Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Languages and Cultural Studies, Mathematics, Medicine and possess at least Two years of experience in your field.
The scholarships offer, depending on the academic level, monthly payments of 850 euros for graduates or 1,200 euros for doctoral candidates. They cover travel expenses, health insurance and a one-time subsidy for the student.
