Spanish Mountain Gold has officially commenced its 2024 diamond drilling program targeting its Spanish Mountain Gold Project, located in the Cariboo Gold Corridor near Likely, British Columbia, Canada.
The new drilling program
The Exploration Program is focused on expanding the near surface mineralization to the northwest. The main objective is to increase both the size of the proposed deposit and the overall scale of the project. In this context, a total of 5000 meters is planned to be drilled in nine NQ size diamond drill holes, with depths ranging from 460 meters to 646 meters.
Each of these holes is aimed at extending multiple zones of mineralization that have been recently identified, as well as determining their geological controls and orientations. In addition, the program seeks to confirm new high-grade geological controls and explore the potential for expansion of the mineral resource. expansion of the mineral resource.
