The company specialized in the development of renewable energy infrastructures, Solaria, has reached a preliminary agreement with Banco Sabadell for the financing of 175 megawatts in the Olivia solar project in Spain.
The Oliva Solar project and sustainable digitization
This agreement contemplates a credit line of up to 93.5 million euros through a syndicated Project Finance structure. These resources will be important to carry out the development of the Oliva Solar development of the Oliva Solar complexcomplex, located in the province of Guadalajara. This project will be linked to a data center that will operate under a self-consumption model, with a power of 70 MW assured for its operation.
The data center The proposed data center will be part of a strategy that seeks to minimize dependence on the main power grid through a self-generated energy model.
This is a representation of a step towards the convergence between digital infrastructure and energy sustainability. In addition, the agreement is conditional on passing due diligence on the projects and final approval by Banco Sabadell‘s risk committee.

On the other hand, the electricity generated by the photovoltaic parks reached in this agreement will be 100% renewable and will have the capacity to supply approximately 84,000 homes each year. This consolidates Solaria’s role as an active agent in the expansion of clean energies in Spain.
