The Ozmo autonomous robot, designed to clean the windows of skyscrapers, developed by Skyline Robotics, has been installed in the iconic “1133 Avenue of the Americas” building in the heart of Manhattan, and has demonstrated its ability to perform this task three times faster than a cleaning crew.

The efficient robot that cleans skyscraper windows

The robot is designed on a platform that travels along the facades of the buildings, while it integrates with robotic armsKuka’ s robotic arms that perform the cleaning using a “brush head and water dispenser”. In addition, the renowned brand Kärcher has collaborated in the project, supplying high-precision cleaning tools.

One of the most impressive aspects of Ozmo is its ability to adapt to extreme environmental conditions. In addition, equipped with Lidar and force sensors, the robot can measure the fragility of glass and adjust its cleaning pressure. On the other hand, its advanced artificial intelligence artificial intelligence algorithms allow them to maintain their stability, even under strong winds or adverse weather conditions.
