Seatrium has been selected by BP to lead the construction of the Tiber Floating Production Unit (FPU), which will be installed in the Gulf of Mexico. Gulf of Mexico. The Tiber FPU is a direct reflection of Seatrium’s serial construction strategy, allowing it to replicate more than 85% of the Kaskida unit design. The new unit will have a production capacity of 80,000 barrels of crude oil per day and will operate at a water depth of approximately 1,250 meters in the Tiber and Guadalupe fields, located approximately 480 km southwest of New Orleans.
A single lift integration methodology will be employed for installation, supported by twin cranes capable of maneuvering up to 30,000 tons.
