Plug Power's Georgia plant produced 324 tons of green hydrogen in August, validating the efficiency of its GenEco system.
Récord en producción de hidrógeno

During the month of August, the green hydrogen plant Plug Power’s green hydrogen plant in Georgia achieved record-breaking performance. It achieved a total production of 324 metric tons of hydrogen, with an efficiency of 92.8%, uptime of 97% and plant availability of 99.7%.

These indicators place the facility as one of the most reliable and efficient in operation within the United States.

GenEco technology validated on a commercial scale

One of the key factors behind operational success is electrolyzer technology GenEco electrolyzer technology developed by Plug. This plant thus becomes a case study that supports the industrial viability of green hydrogen. green hydrogen and strengthens customer confidence in the company’s technical capabilities.

Operating on a large scale with consistent results is tangible proof that the energy transition is already underway.

Consolidation of a national production network

With additional facilities in Tennessee and Louisiana, and more in development, Plug is building a network of hydrogen production facilities in green hydrogen production with commercial coverage.

The continued operation of the Georgia plant demonstrates that hydrogen-based power generation is no longer a model for the future, but a competitive reality.

Record Hydrogen Production Bolsters Expansion

Andy Marsh, CEO of Plug, highlighted the role of the technical team in achieving these accomplishments and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the development of a national hydrogen-based energy ecosystem.

The record figures achieved reinforce Plug’s leadership in the sector and its role in consolidating the hydrogen economy in the United States.
