Zelestra begins construction of the “Jasper County Solar” photovoltaic plant in Indiana

Zelestra, a global leader in renewable energy, has broken ground on the Jasper County Solar project in Jasper County, Indiana. This solar plant is part of an environmental attributes purchase agreement (EAPA) signed with Meta earlier this year, as part of the technology company’s efforts to achieve its ambitious decarbonization goals.

This clean energy project project has a capacity of 60 MWac or 79 MWdc, reinforcing Zelestra’s strategy in the United States. By partnering with Meta to secure 100% of Jasper County Solar’s output, Zelestra demonstrates its commitment to large-scale renewable energy projects and its ability to meet the requirements of its corporate customers.

Indiana currently generates 10% of its energy from renewable sources.
