Petroecuador reported on Friday that it awarded the sale of 720,000 barrels of crude oil to the state-owned Petrochina International Co Ltd. for 55.8 million dollars.
The crude, to be delivered in two shipments of around 360,000 barrels each, is expected to be loaded in November.
“The sale of this hydrocarbon was awarded to the company Petrochina International Co. Ltd., which presented the most favorable offer, with a differential of -6.00 dollars per barrel,” Petroecuador said in a statement.
This is the eleventh crude oil spot sale of the year by Petroecuador.
