Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) and the Colegio Nacional de Educación Profesional Técnica (Conalep) signed an agreement that will set the tone for a new stage of specialized training in the energy sector. Effective until September 2030, the agreement aims to promote the development of technical skills in young people seeking to join the labor market with training aligned with the real needs of the industry.
Technical modernization in the energy industry
This agreement represents a strategic alliance between the state-owned oil company and one of the most important technical institutions in the country. The collaboration includes the updating of academic programs, the design of specialized training and the promotion of dual education models that integrate theory with professional practice.
In addition, professional internships and social service at Pemex facilities will be encouraged, strengthening the link between students and the industry.
The agreement incorporates specific clauses on transparency, human rights, protection of personal data and prevention of acts of corruption. These guidelines are in line with national and international standards, ensuring that collaboration is developed under principles of institutional responsibility.
Both Pemex and Conalep agreed that this alliance is a commitment to strengthening human capital and the professionalization of the sector. The objective is for each young person in training to find real learning spaces within the energy industry and for active workers to have access to updating processes in accordance with new technologies and the demands of the productive environment.
