The 27th Annual International Aboveground Storage Tank Conference & Trade Show, organized by the National Institute for Storage Tank Management (NISTM), concluded on April 25, 2025.
During three intense days of conferences, exhibits and networking activities, NISTM 2025 brought together engineers, terminal operators, regulators, manufacturers and service providers in the aboveground storage tank (AST) industry from both the United States and internationally.
A space for exchange and growth
The event provided a unique platform for the exchange of technical knowledge, the presentation of innovative solutions in safety and maintenance, and the generation of business opportunities. The free trade show highlighted cutting-edge products and services, reaffirming the dynamism and constant evolution of the industry.
Specialized courses such as Tanks 101, Liquid Terminals 101 and the new Aviation Fueling Master Class were highly valued by attendees, reinforcing the importance of continuous training in the industry.
Networking and community building
In addition to the technical activities, social events such as the Welcome Reception, the Networking Mixer and the traditional golf tournament prior to the conference, provided opportunities for professionals and companies to connect and collaborate strategically.
The WiTI Networking Event (Women in the Tanks Industry), held on April 22, had an outstanding impact in boosting the inclusion and visibility of women leaders within the industry, with the support of numerous companies committed to gender equity.
