Recently, the company has selected SMS Group, Metso and Ausenco Engineering Canada as the main engineering partners to carry out this project. These collaborations are expected to boost the technical and operational capabilities necessary for the facility’s success.

SMS Group has been entrusted with the responsibility of developing the alloys and stainless steel plant . This facility is tasked with processing various concentrates, including iron, chromium and nickel from the Crawford project , among others, in order to produce stainless steel and various high-quality alloys.

The steel plant is expected to begin operations towards the end of 2027, which is scheduled to coincide with the first production of the Crawford project. This synchronization is intended to maximize the efficiency and integration of NetZero Metals ‘ supply chain.
