Nauticus Robotics, the U.S. firm specialized in offshore roboticshas confirmed the signing of an agreement with the UAE-based Master Investment Group to boost its international growth. The agreement calls for a total investment of up to $50 million that will enable Nauticus to establish an operating unit in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), focused on the production of its automated systemsnomos for offshore operations.

The first tranche of the financing, US$3 million, will be used to create a legal entity in the country and to identify the site where the future manufacturing center will be located. The remainder of the capital will be deployed as the project progresses.

A center to scale offshore robotics in the region

New regional hub will serve as manufacturing, testing, sales and support services platform for subsea vehicle fleet Aquanautdeveloped by Nauticus. These systems are used for inspection, maintenance and inspection, maintenance and handling in offshore environments, without the need for direct human intervention.without the need for direct human intervention.

As stated by both parties, the intention is that this UAE operation will not only supply customers in the Middle East, but will also act as a strategic point for future expansion in Asia and North Africa.

In addition to the physical development of the facilities, the agreement includes the training of local talent and the integration of technological components to strengthen the region’s industrial ecosystem.

Autonomous technology and long-term vision

The investment not only allows scaling up production of the Aquanaut system, but also enables Nauticus to offer offshore inspection and maintenance and maintenance services with greater proximity to key markets.

Master Investment Group, for its part, has stated that this agreement strengthens its strategy of positioning the UAE as a regional benchmark in industrial automation and intelligent solutions applied to the maritime environment.

The deployment of Nauticus’ operations in Emirati territory marks a significant step in the company’s internationalization, and reinforces the Gulf’s trend towards the adoption of technologies that combine operational efficiency, sustainability and autonomy.

A boost for the knowledge economy

Both companies anticipate that this center will contribute to the creation of specialized employment, foster technology transfer and serve as a base for future innovations in robotics applied to energy, defense and underwater infrastructure maintenance.

The transaction is currently pending regulatory approvals, but operations are expected to commence within this fiscal year.
