UNIC Cranes Europe has introduced the UM325, its new mini spider crane designed to take efficiency and versatility to another level in lifting operations. This new model, powered by lithium battery, is ideal for applications in confined spaces and difficult terrain, such as those found in the construction and specialized industries.
Thanks to its innovative design, the UM325 is compact and lightweight and offers an impressive working range with its telescopic boom. This crane is capable of reaching a maximum height of 17.8 meters, while its extendable tracks improve stability, allowing it to be used in narrow or hard-to-reach areas.

One of the highlights of the UM325 is its focus on sustainability. The crane is powered by a lithium battery that can be charged while it is in operation, reducing downtime and minimizing carbon emissions. This aspect makes it an ideal choice for companies looking to reduce their environmental footprint without compromising operational capability.
Technical capabilities of the spider crane
The UM325 is equipped with a 2.9 to 10 meter boom, with an additional hook attachment that allows an extension of up to 5.7 meters. This, combined with its 1000 kg lifting capacity, ensures high performance in demanding tasks. In addition, its remote control system allows for quick and accurate setup, improving operational efficiency on the job site.
Graeme Riley, managing director of UNIC Cranes Europe, highlighted the interest generated by the UM325 prototype at the Bauma 2022 event and commented on the collaboration with UNIC Furukawa in Japan to adapt the product to the needs of the European market.
The flexible outrigger and pop-up turret design gives our customers the ability to operate closer to walls and obstacles, significantly increasing the crane’s versatility.
Riley stated.
Advanced technology for optimized operations
The UM325 also features the RaycoWylie i4500 system, which optimizes load capacity and provides an intuitive graphical interface for operators. With this system, operators can monitor crane status in real time and make quick adjustments to ensure that every lift is safe and efficient.
Definitely, the UNIC UM325 promises to transform lifting operations in confined spaces and offers an environmentally friendly solution for companies committed to sustainability. With its first batch already available in the UK, UNIC Cranes Europe is set to make history in the mini spider crane market.
