METLEN has closed a deal with Schroders Greencoat to transfer a solar PV portfolio totaling 283 MW in the United Kingdom. The transaction includes seven projects located in England and Scotland and combines assets already in operation with others at an advanced stage of construction.

The portfolio is divided between 143 MW in operation and 140 MW under development, with entry expected during the second quarter of 2026. This structure ensures operational continuity while integrating new capacity into the UK electricity system. the UK electricity system..
In addition, the projects have long-term power purchase agreements signed with Vodafone and Engie. These agreements provide revenue visibility and cash flow stability in a context of growing demand for renewable electricity.
The transaction also extends the cooperation between METLEN and Schroders Greencoat following a previous transaction in 2024. This follow-up consolidates a relationship focused on onshore solar assets and strengthens the presence of both groups in the UK energy market.
Simultaneously, METLEN maintains its focus on the UK energy transition through the development of solar generation, battery storage, flexible generation and grid solutions.
Finally, the sale is part of METLEN’s asset rotation program, aimed at crystallizing value and sustaining a disciplined deployment of capital. With this transaction, the company strengthens its strategic position in the United Kingdom and deepens its partnership with specialized institutional investors.
