The batteries were also subjected to FAT(Factory Acceptance Test) before final technical approval, meeting the technical standards required by the customer. This initial contract was signed in the fall of 2024 and was extended in the spring of 2025, consolidating the collaboration between the two companies.

In addition, Metacon is developing these solutions in partnership with PERIC Hydrogen Technologies, a global specialist in electrolysis technology based in China. On the other hand, the energy project continues with the manufacture and delivery of the rest of the equipment, maintaining the planned schedule. The plant installed in Greece represents a strategic and technological advance towards the decarbonization of industrial processes, in line with European energy transition objectives.

Finally, Metacon strengthens its position as a benchmark supplier in the hydrogen market, offering modular and scalable solutions that enable sustainable and competitive production. Moreover, its HIWAR technology, developed in Greece, complements this offer through catalytic reforming of biogas and bioethanol.
